The Age of Psychology – a peer-reviewed scholarly journal founded in 2026 and published by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Publication frequency: 4 issues per year (quarterly).
Aims & Scope
The journal publishes original research articles and analytical review papers in the field of psychology and related interdisciplinary areas, including (but not limited to) the following areas:

Peer Review
All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening and double-blind peer review by independent experts. The journal considers manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly significance, originality, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Editorial Policies and Publication Ethics
The journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics and applies procedures for:
- identifying unethical borrowing (plagiarism) and other forms of publication misconduct;
- disclosure and management of conflicts of interest;
- handling author communications (complaints and appeals related to peer review outcomes);
- issuing corrections and retractions where justified.

Open Access and Licensing
Articles are published in open access on the journal website and are available in full text. Publications are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. Journal content is provided in three languages – Kazakh, Russian, and English – in accordance with the journal’s language policy.
DOI and Metadata
Each published article is assigned a DOI; registration is carried out through Crossref to ensure persistent identification, accurate citation, and long-term accessibility of publications.
Editorial Board
The editorial board includes leading scholars from Kazakhstan and international institutions, ensuring the scholarly quality of publications and alignment with the journal’s scope.

Article Processing Charge (APC)
For manuscripts accepted for publication, an APC is set at 5000 KZT per article. The APC is charged after acceptance; payment does not affect the editorial decision and does not replace peer review procedures. Proof of payment (receipt in PDF or JPEG format) should be sent by the authors to the editorial office via email.
